Marvel and Disney are ramping up promotion for Captain America: The Winter Soldier with another featurette, this time dedicated to the character Black Widow, played by none other than Scarlett Johansson.
The luckier ones out there will get to enjoy Captain America: The Winter Soldier in about two weeks, the rest of us will have to wait until April which, truth be told is only one extra week anyway. But back to the featurette, it brings to the forefront something I haven’t thought about yet, the stark difference between Steve Rogers (Captain America) and Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow).
Yet despite those difference (Rogers wouldn’t lie to save his life, Romanoff is an expert at deceiving) they make a great team together. We also learn their bond will be tested during the course of the movie, so definitely looking forward to that.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the 9th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and takes place some time after the events of The Avengers. In this movie Steve Rogers will have to face an extremely powerful threat, the soviet agent known only as The Winter Soldier.
Brothers Anthony and Joe Russo direct with Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan and Samuel L. Jackson starring.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens March 26th in the UK and most of Europe and April 4th in the US.
