There’s a lot of walking and not much else in this teaser for Game of Thrones, but even that’s apparently enough to get me hyped for the summer start of Season 7.
This time last year we were less than a month away from the start of Season 6, you could (and most in fact did) count the days. You can definitely count the days to Season 7 too, but that number would be a lot bigger this time around. For those that might not be up to speed yet, Season 7 of Game of Thrones will begin airing on HBO come July 16th, which means this will be the longest we’ve ever had to wait for a new season.
To make matters worse Season 7 will only have 7 episodes. The good news is these should be some of the most epic episodes yet, I mean HBO is not pulling any punches here. Now let’s hope a proper trailer for Season 7 comes sooner rather than later. And by the way, the 2nd King I was referencing in the title is of course the Night King, leader of the White Walkers.
Starring in the penultimate season of Game of Thrones are Peter Dinklage, Lena Headey, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aiden Gillen, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Gwendoline Christie, Nathalie Emmanuel, Liam Cunningham, Jim Broadbent and many others.
Season 7 of Game of Thrones begins July 16th. There’s no date yet for the final season, which will only have 6 episodes.
