New Dark Knight Rises trailer is all kinds of awesome

the dark knight rises movie images Image When it comes to a perfect trailer, you need to have a perfect blend of epic action, epic dialogue, epic characters, epic moments, and just plain epicness. The new Dark Knight Rises trailer trumps all of that and earns the “You must stop what you are doing and watch this right now” award.

With more footage and dialogue from Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, as well as an easily heard Bane causing absolute chaos, this is shaping up as the proper Batman finale we deserve AND need. Be warned: you may just forget how excited you where about that other movie about superheroes.

I’m going to shut up now and allow you to pass out from epicness:

    While I’m glad they cleared up Bane’s voice a little, a part of me wishes they didn’t because the ‘old’ voice sounded more menacing.

         I’m very glad that they cleaned up Bane’s voice. While it may not sound as “menacing” the clarity and inflection in his voice when he spoke made him sound more intelligent which is what really makes Bane Batman’s most imposing enemy yet.
         Does anyone know if that is actually Tom Hardy’s voice? When he told Batman that his punishment must be more severe, at least to me, it sounded like Hardy’s American accent. I’m really hoping that the mask and voice filter don’t take away from any of the amazing acting talent that Tom Hardy brings to the film.
         I also see that they aren’t releasing to much info aboutTalia or Ras Al Ghull’s story arcs. I hope Nolan keeps this finale “in the dark” so to speak until it’s release. Holding back large peices of story info and some more cool viral marketing will help drum up interest from the people still coming down off of there Avengers and Spider-Man highs.

      That is definitely Tom Hardy’s voice but I wish they hadn’t cleaned it up either. The edge has gone from it but I’m hoping that this isn’t so when we see and hear him in the film itself.
