New banners for The Dark Knight Rises

darkknightrisesbannerlarge1 590x271 Image We’re edging closer to July, and that means Warner Bros. will be pumping up the marketing campaign for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises to make sure people are aware of its impending release (I’m sure there’s still a few who remain oblivious).

Today ComingSoon were provided with six very cool new banners for the movie which feature Batman, Bane, Catwoman, and a lot of armed followers.

Since this is the last Batman Movie for the Nolan Brothers, I wonder if it will smash all of the records that The Avengers have/are setting.

I think it’ll be tough for The Dark Knight Rises to beat The Avengers at the box office, but I guess anything is possible. The Avengers had 3D ticket prices, little competition, years worth of build up, and a boost by being the first major movie of the summer. It’s also an entertaining movie and worthly of repeat viewings.

TDKR is an event movie for sure, but how big of an event remains to be seen.
