michael papajohnDespite being killed off in the first Spider-Man film Uncle Ben’s killer (Michael Papajohn) re-appeared in Spider-Man 3, where we found out that the killer was actually Sandman, who later apologized and all was forgiven. However, we could very well be seeing Michael Papajohn again in Spider-Man 4. From SHH:

Scooper ‘Cassassin’ sent us the following note today about Spider-Man actor Michael Papajohn:

During a Q&A with Ted Raimi and Michael Papajohn at Wizard World Philadelphia today, Papajohn (aka the carjacker/original killer of Uncle Ben from the Spider-Man films) said that he would be reprising his role for Spider-Man 4. He then proceeded to say if he told us what his role entailed, he’d have to kill us.

As he is still dead (so far as we know) his return will most likely be for more flashbacks. However, some fans have speculated that it could be the work of Chameleon who utilizes holographic technology which allows him to change his appearance at the push of a button. Whatever the reason I don’t really want to know, as it would just spoil things.

Writer David Lindsay-Abaire is currently working on the script and director Sam Raimi said he would be reading the latest draft in the near future.
