Gina Carano in talks for Fast & Furious 6

Gina Carano Haywire fast furious six Image According to THR mixed martial arts fighter turned actress Gina Carano is in talks to join the cast of The Fast and the Furious 6. Carano will no doubt be getting the role due to her ass-kicking debut in Steven Soderbergh’s Haywire which saw her deliver beatings to Michael Fassbender and Channing Tatum, among others.

Plot and character details haven’t been revealed, but it is thought Carano will be part of Dwayne Johnson’s Security Service team who are trying to track down Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, and company.

The Fast and the Furious 6 will be going international, with filming set to take place in the UK and Germany this summer. Justin Lin is returning to direct, and Fast Five screenwriter Chris Morgan is currently working on the script. Universal has set a release date for May 24, 2013.

    They’ll probably have to write her a pretty significant role for her to take it.  Her first movie was to critical acclaim.  Going from that to a minor role in a fun summer flick seems like moving backwards to me

      Haywire may have received good reviews but it barely made $30 million worldwide. Fast and the Furious 6 is a sure fire hit and will probably be a good move career-wire. It’ll give more people the chance to see her in action.

    The one thing the movies never had was a a$$-kicking babe…Now maybe we’ll get to see one,especially since she was so good in Haywire
