Depending where you live Wonder Woman is only three weeks away from its theatrical release, which means it’s time for one last trailer, no sharp edges here (okay maybe just one).
“In the early 20th century, the Amazon princess Diana, who is living on the island of Themyscira, meets American military pilot Steve Trevor when he is washed ashore. After learning from him about the ongoing events of World War I, she leaves her home for London to bring an early end to the war.”
Yep, this continues to look good, which is not surprising since Warner have a history of great trailers for their DC movies. Here’s hoping they nailed this one. One thing that has me a bit worried is I’m not yet sure about the general tone here and how the movie will handle its humor. There’s a point where the trailer takes a hard right for a few seconds and then it goes back to what it was doing before that, which feels very disjointed. I’d like to think that won’t be a problem in the final movie, fingers crossed.
Wonder Woman was directed by Patty Jenkins and written by Allan Heinberg. Starring in the film are Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner and many others.
Wonder Woman, the 4th entry in Warner’s DC Extended Universe, opens June 2nd in the US and around the world. If by the end of the movie you’ll still be itching for more Wonder Woman, well there’s also Justice League coming later this year, November 17th.
