Pixar’s parent Disney has unveiled a mini-cartoon to serve as the very first teaser trailer for their new animated musical Frozen, which stars Kristen Bell as the voice of adventuring protagonist Anna.
In the trailer, a chubby little snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) gets in a fight with a reindeer called Sven over his carrot nose which tells us literally nothing about the film’s story itself. In the latest effort from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Anna (Kristen Bell) teams up with a mountain man named Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), as well as a goofy snowman and the reindeer featured in a comical short below, to save her kingdom from an enchanted winter.

Jennifer Lee is co-directing Disney’s 53rd animated feature film along with Tarzan’s director Chris Buck. Based on Hans Christian Anderson’s fairy tale ‘The Snow Queen,’ the movie features original songs by Broadway greats Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
Frozen opens in 3D on November 27th for Thanksgiving.
Here’s the official synopsis:
When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna’s sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, an amazing and comedic snowman named Olaf, Everest-like conditions and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
