Earlier today we saw James Cameron giving a presentation at E3 and we also got our first look at screen shots from the Avatar game. Now, Gamespot have posted a new interview with the director as they got the chance to have a one-on-one with the man himself. He gives us a few details that we heard in the earlier presentation, however one interesting thing Cameron says during the interview is:
“…when I sit down to write the sequel, I want to talk to them [Ubisoft] first because they’ve got a lot of great ideas and a lot of great designers”.
He goes on to say that a sequel will all depend on whether Avatar makes any money and whether the cast and crew are up for another 3+ years of work (hopefully they have the technology sorted so that if they want to make a sequel it won’t take 4 and a half years like it has with Avatar). Cameron seems pretty up for a sequel considering he’s spent such a long time working on the first movie.
