X-Men: Days of Future Past will begin filming later this month in Montreal and director Bryan Singer continues to tease on Twitter. His latest is an image of Beast’s new face, which looks more like actor Nicholas Hoult and is actually an improvement from X-Men: First Class.

Bryan Singer will be the third director in charge of Beast’s look on film. Brett Ratner was the first with actor Kelsey Grammer playing an older Beast in X-Men: The Last Stand. Vaughn told the story of Beast’s transformation in First Class, and I quite liked Hoult’s cat-like look despite the obviously problems trying to get it right during a rushed production.
Singer’s Beast looks to be a mix of the two we’ve already seen, and will make the acting process a lot easier for Nicholas Hoult. They could address the slight change in appearance in the film as side effects of Beast’s transformation, but if they just roll with it that’d be fine. He looks cool.
What do you think of Beast’s new look in X-Men: Days of Future Past?
