The Last Airbender Teaser Trailer

Our first look at moving footage from The Last Airbender has appeared online in the form a teaser trailer, and tease is what it does. We see Noah Ringer as Aang performing some cool staff movements to a crowd of candles. When he’s done we pull out to see a huge fleet of Fire Nation ships approaching. From the teaser we can’t really judge whether the end result will be good or not, but it certainly looks cool. Watch below!

The film’s hero, the reluctant young Aang (Noah Ringer), is the “Last Airbender” — the Avatar who, according to prophecy, has the ability to manipulate all of the elements and bring all the nations together.

Aided by a protective teenage Waterbender named Katara (Nicola Peltz) and her bull-headed brother Sokka, Aang proceeds on a perilous journey to restore balance to their war-torn world. Dev Patel plays the Fire Nation’s evil prince Zuko. Exiled from the Fire Nation by his father, Zuko is sent to capture the Avatar in order to restore his honor and right to the throne.

Besides the EPIC RACEFAIL (look up racebending.com they'll explain), just as a fan of Avatar, this is one of the worst previews I think I've seen for a movie in ages. And no, I'm not a Shyamalan hater, I thought he might actually stand a chance of making good film adaptations of this series, but obviously, I was wrong. Not only has the cultural richness of the show been quashed, so too has any of the fun and excitement, aspects which make the later darker periods all the more powerful. I don't understand how anyone who was a fan of the show could stand to see this utter, disrespectful, poorly executed garbage.

Epic Racefail my ass. You guys are epic fail for thinking anyone even cares about your ranting. The movie will still happen, you will still go and watch it. Then you will like it, it will make hundreds of millions, they will release a sequel that will make double, and there will be more white actors in it. Toph will be white. Everyone will be white. And you will still like it. Get over it or go watch your Japanese dramas where people act like my two feet.

Oh and please, don't judge a whole god damned trilogy of movies from a stupid first teaser trailer. As mature as you may sound, that ruins it all.

Great now M. Night shyamalan is going to ruin one of the best cartoon shows ever....
Yes i probably am going to see it, i am having doubts about this Noah Ringer because in the trailer you only see a bit of his face so then i had to google images of close ups and then.... little bit disappointed. First OF ALL AANGS TATTOOS ARE BLUE!!! NOT BLACK FREAKIN HELL CAN NO-ONE GET IT RIGHT and another thingf Nicola Peltz (Katara) Her costume was silk and looked tacky her necklace was too big too... yeh i know that sounds odd for me to be judging, its just these people a skipping the DETAILS! and come on DEV PATEL AS ZUKO WTF um.. if anyone hasnt noticed DEV PATEL LOOKS NOTHING LIKE PRINCE ZUKO!!! grrr. Zuko is pale as ( NOT BEING RACIST)

    M. Night SHYAMALAN THANKS....... FOR RUINING ONE OF THE BEST CARTOONS EVER >:l ( If the movie is GREAT i take it back.)
