In this 3rd trailer for Wonder Woman we get to see a very young Diana and even more sword and whip action, and of course the usual comedy stinger at the end.
“In the early 20th century, the Amazon princess Diana, who is living on the island of Themyscira, meets American military pilot Steve Trevor when he is washed ashore. After learning from him about the ongoing events of World War I, she leaves her home to bring an early end to the war.”
I know the little Diana part will probably be no more than 5 minutes, but even so I’m starting to think Wonder Woman might try to spin a few too many plates at the same time. I’m guessing the runtime will be at least 2 hours, and there seems to be a whole lot of movie to fit in that time, maybe too much. Either way I really hope this one turns things around for the DC Extended Universe, Wonder Woman needs to be good. And I do mean actually good, not it’s good because it’s Wonder Woman. So far it definitely looks the part, but trailers can be deceiving.
Patty Jenkins directed the 4th installment in the DC Extended Universe with a screenplay by Allan Heinberg. Starring in the superhero flick are Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston (jumping to the DC side after also appearing in the Wolverine movie we don’t talk about), Connie Nielsen, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner and more.
Wonder Woman lands on the big screen starting June 2nd in the US and around the world.
