it would have sucked anyway. it wouldn't have made a big difference. i think it would've been better if each film had been done as follows: xmen 1-the fight against the sentinels and magneto and at the end magneto helps the xmen beat the sentinels. xmen2- should have been the sinister saga. xmen3- should have been about the rise of apocolypse. and then bring phoenix at the end. now this series would have been better, but u can always count on hollywood to screw things up.

i heard the /Filmcast with Michael Dougherty when i heard his idea of X-Men 3 i was so pissed. i agree with you Liam i also blame FOX, WB, Bryan Singer and Brett Ratner for this major fuck up. i remember Matthew Vaughn blast Brett Ratner for doing a bad job with X-Men 3. Matthew Vaughn was also linked to do X-Men 3 but he turn it down.
