Ok. So here’s the deal.
A lot of rumors have been flying around today about some casting tidbits on the Justice League movie. First off, the kind folks over at Ain’t It Cool seemingly have 100% confirmation that they know who will be playing Wonder Woman. And that woman is Megan Gale. Gale is a supermodel from Down Under (that’s Australia to you geographically challenged folks).
First things first: She definitely looks the part. Example:
Tall. Shapely. Beautiful. Could totally be an Amazon woman. But can she act? Who knows. We’ll have to wait and see on that one.
The second bit of casting news is that of Batman. Now, when we think of Batman, especially in the context of a JLA film, we would probably go with what we’re most familiar with. Big. Dark. Scary. Brooding. Older. And so on.
Now, this next bit is STILL a rumor, so it’s not confirmed, but sources say that the WB has went with Armie Hammer for the role of Batman.
Who?
Yea. Exactly. By the way, that’s the only real picture of him available.
A quick look at his IMDB profile says he’s been on Veronica Mars and Desperate Housewives. He also plays the esteemed role of “Abercrombie Boy” in Spring Breakdown. Oh, and he’s also 21.
Yes. You heard that correctly. 21.
This had better be a crock of BS, otherwise I have lost all faith in the JLA movie.
