I have been waiting for a WW flick forever as well. I think that casting someone who fits the part physically as well as ethically would be better. I work at DISH Network and I would love to be able to catch the movie in High Definition. You can get access to G4 and other channels in HD though.

I have to agree with RallyforWatchmen. I have been waiting for a WW flick forever as well. The right actress is hanging around somewhere, and is probably not yet among the current stellar armament of Hollywood. She will appear soon, and it will be bigger and will pack more punch than any DC or Marvel comic book hero. Be happy Hollywood hasn't tripped on this project yet.

I’m glad they are putting off the movie production until they get things (writers, director, actors) right. If I remember right she was created out of clay by queen Hypolita and brought to life by her magic. So she could have dark brown clay colored skin.

Actually a dark skinned Wonder Woman would fit in with her origin. Then in the 90's there was this whole push to put a Wonder Woman series back on the air, auditioning women all across the U.S.. Rumor has it, they eventually gave the role to Alexandra Paul from Baywatch but it never got off the ground, so to speak. Now we have this on-again/off-again JLA flick that had given me some hope of seeing a live-action Wonder Woman again, portrayed by the stunning and statuesque, Megan Gale. Now that movie's in limbo, from what I've gathered, and the Joel Silver Wonder Woman film's script is getting yet ANOTHER re-tooling! The good news is Joss Whedon is off the project, because his take would have deviated WAAAAAAY too far from the iconic image of Wonder Woman for my liking. But like the JLA film, it seems like it's been in limbo for much too long now. Meanwhile Marvel kicks DC's ass in the superhero film genre. DC should be ashamed of themselves for dragging their heels on WW, JLA, and Superman (post-Returns).

I’ve been waiting for a new live-action Wonder Woman since the day the original TV series went off the air back in the day!
