For those who haven’t heard, a Boy Meets World spin-off is in development over at Disney called Girl Meets World. The titular girl would be none other than Corey and Topanga’s daughter, and both Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed on to reprise their roles. The other leads, however, are a mixed bag.
The other members of the main cast included; Corey’s best friend Shawn, Corey’s brother Eric, and their teacher Mr. Feeney. The actors behind these roles were; Rider Strong, Will Friedle and William Daniels, respectively. So far both Friedle and Daniels have remained silent, but Strong indicated he would not be returning while speaking to EW.
Strong indicated that the show would be about Corey and Topanga’s lives along with their daughter and other new characters calling it “the next generation.” He did however say that there would be a chance to see some of the old cast appear as guest stars, giving everyone a chance to see where everyone ended up all these years later.
