Warm Bodies DVD and Blu-ray release date announced

warm bodies ImageWarm Bodies, which gave us a refreshing take on the undead romance sub-genre, has received release dates for home video and digital downloads. MTV has broken the news that Warm Bodies will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on June 4th, but it will out a few weeks early for digital download on May 14th.

There are a variety of special features that will be included in the DVD which include nine behind the scenes featurettes. These include home videos shot by Teresa Palmer, who played the female lead Julie, and one titled “Extreme Zombie Makeover,” presumably about the process of turning actors into zombies. Also included on the DVD and Blu-ray is a commentary by Jonathan Levin, who directed the film, along with stars Nicholas Hoult and Palmer as well as a blooper reel called “Shrug and Groan.”
