According to Variety Columbia Pictures are in discussions with producer Joe Roth for XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, which would bring back Vin Diesel as the lead douche and Rob Cohen as the director.
While there is no script, both Diesel and Cohen have agreed to return. Ice Cube replaced Diesel in XXX: State of the Union, and no one noticed or cared. Diesel has already returned to The Fast and the Furious franchise with upcoming Fast and Furious and I wouldn’t be suprised if we get news of Vin Diesel returning for more Chronicles of Riddick movies at this rate. Not enough original work is coming in for Mr. Diesel!
