Underworld: Rise of the Lycans Trailer

underworld rise of the lycans 2When two celebrity females turn up on the red carpet wearing the same dress it is a big no no. I suppose the movie equivalent to this would be two recent movie trailers having the same music. The marketing guys for Underworld: Rise of the Lycans obviously haven’t seen any Max Payne trailers recently. The problem with using the same music is that you automatically get reminded about the other movie that used it, and stop concentrating on the vampires zooming around on wires and charging Lycans.

I haven’t seen the previous Underworld movies so I can’t tell whether this looks good in comparison. Any Underworld fans out there have an opinion on the new trailer?

    Well, it looks pretty good to me. There is a ‘but’ of course. It makes perfect sense that the Sonia character looks like Selene since Viktor turned Selene because she reminded him of his daughter, however, in Underworld Sonia is shown in a vision as being blonde. Those little inconsistencies tend to bother me since I pay attention to detail. The people who made the first Underworld should have looked to the future and their own storyline for that detail. I look forward to seeing more of what happened between the vampires and the lycans. The Underworld series seems to go backward with each movie.

    Woah, I am rediculously out of the loop, I’ve been a hardcore underworld fan since I saw the first movie years ago, After Underworld Evolution I thought that was it but another one?
    I can’t wait to see it
    And I totally agree with Angela about the fact that each movie goes back further into there History, which I kinda think is cool
