There have been worries Transformers 2 wouldn’t get under way for a good while due to the writers strike. However, things are starting to gear up as Production Designer, Nigel Phelps, has joined the project. If you want to know what a Production Designer is then click here.

Phelps has worked with Michael Bay before on The Island and Pearl Harbor and is currently working on The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.

Transformers 2 is expected to be out June 2009.
