In the first trailer for Cloud Atlas released last week we got a glimpse at the multiple roles each of the actors will play, including Hugh Grant as a cannibal, Halle Berry as a while Jewish woman, and Jim Sturgess as Korean man.
Warner Bros. has recently launched the official website for Cloud Atlas which gives us a run-down off all the characters (complete with music from the film in the background). From the images it’s clear Hugo Weaving plays the most diverse bunch of characters (most of which are villains), so I’ve compiled them all below.
Bill Smoke in Half Lives: The First Luisa Rey Mystery

(Female) Nurse Noakes in The Ghastly Ordeal of Timothy Cavendish

‘Korean man’ in An Orison of Sonmi 451 (his character isn’t clear just yet)

Old Georgie in Sloosha’s Crossin’ and Everythin’ After

Cloud Atlas, directed by Tom Tykwer and The Wachowskis, stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugo Weaving, Keith David, Jim Broadbent, Jim Sturgess, Ben Whishaw, Hugh Grant and Susan Sarandon. It follows six stories ranging from the South Pacific in the 19th Century to California in the 1970s to a post-apocalyptic future.
Cloud Atlas arrives in the US on October 26th, and in other territories late-2012/early 2013.
