The Hunger Games motion poster

hunger games movie Image Lionsgate love their motion posters. We’ve had a few for Conan the Barbarian, and now the studio has released one for The Hunger Games which features a brand-new (and highly flammable) logo based on the story’s iconic mockingjay pin.

The Hunger Games is set in a future America which is divided into 12 poor districts that serve a wealthy Capitol territory. Once a year, each district submits a girl and boy as tributes to participate in life-or-death games. Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss Everdeen alongside Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Stanley Tucci (Caesar Flickerman) and 24 other young actors who play tributes from 12 different districts.

    ok, this was the most fucking annoying movie poster I have ever seen/heard

    I’m going through my Google Feeds and all of a sudden this noise starts, I haven’t even made it to this post yet, but it loaded, and it’s set to autoplay, so it just starts up, and then the fire music is set on an autoplay loop, so I spend more time then I want to trying ti figure out where it’s coming from.

    Please next time if there’s an auto play setting when you embed it, turn it off, and if there isn’t don’t embed it.

      Sorry about that. I rarely post motion posters specifically because they auto-play. Playing in RSS feeds when you haven’t clicked the post is wrong. I guess Lionsgate and whoever made it need to fix that.

        It’s cool, mistakes are made.

        It’s strange why they would make it auto play by default though, i’d like to think that that was just an oversight on their part, and hopefully not a design implementation.
