The Goon, a comic book series created by prominent graphic novelist Eric Powell, follows the alleged henchmen Goon and Frankie as they fight zombie hordes controlled by the top hat wearing Zombie Priest. Likely the only media to ever have a reverse zombie (he likes the flesh of the dead), the series is known for its rather bizarre explorations into the world of the occult.
David Fincher has been developing a CGI animated adaptation of the series over the past few years with Clancy Brown playing Goon and Paul Giamatti voicing Frankie, and now MTV has debuted a preview of the film which will also be shown at Comic Con in a few days.

A release date has not yet been specified and it doesn’t look like any major studios are attached to release it, however that may change if The Goon receives a positive response at Comic Con.
