Security is always tight around movie scripts nowadays as there is always a chance it could leak onto the internet. The script for The Dark Knight Rises, easily one of the most anticipated films of 2012, is no doubt locked inside a vault somewhere, but to ensure nobody leaks the ending director Christopher Nolan is keeping it in an even safer place. Absolute Radio recently interviewed Gary Oldman, who plays Commissioner Gordon, and he spoke about the security surrounding the film, working with Tom Hardy (Bane), and said he expects to start shooting in May.

Nolan has said this will be his final Batman film so it is unlikely the ending will set up a fourth film, but I guess we won’t find out until next summer.
The Dark Knight Rises is set for release on July 20th, 2012. Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman will reprise their roles alongside new additions Tom Hardy (Bane), Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anne Hathaway (Catwoman).
