The Super Bowl TV spot for Fast and Furious has Youtubed it’s way online. I actually think this TV spot is better than the trailer we got two weeks ago, and thats not just because it contains 1 second of lesbian action. All of the original guys are back including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Michelle Rodriguez.

Heading back to the streets where it all began, two men rejoin two women to blast muscle, tuner and exotic cars across Los Angeles and floor through the Mexican desert. When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto reignites his feud with agent Brian O’Connor. But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmaneuver him. Vin Diesel Threatens More xXx

According to Variety Columbia Pictures are in discussions with producer Joe Roth for XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, which would bring back Vin Diesel as the lead douche and Rob Cohen as the director.

While there is no script, both Diesel and Cohen have agreed to return. Ice Cube replaced Diesel in XXX: State of the Union, and no one noticed or cared. Diesel has already returned to The Fast and the Furious franchise with upcoming Fast and Furious and I wouldn’t be suprised if we get news of Vin Diesel returning for more Chronicles of Riddick movies at this rate. Not enough original work is coming in for Mr. Diesel!

The first trailer for Fast and Furious starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster has appeared online.

Babylon A.D. Director Dosen’t Like His Own Movie Or Fox

Babylon A.D. will finally be released in the upcoming days and we will be able to see the latest Vin Diesel action-fest. Although, one man who will not be doing any publicity for the film is director Mathieu Kassovitz, who recently spoke to AMC and told them why he is not particularly happy with his own movie…or 20th Century Fox.

“I’m very unhappy with the film,” he says. “I never had a chance to do one scene the way it was written or the way I wanted it to be. The script wasn’t respected. Bad producers, bad partners, it was a terrible experience.”
“It’s pure violence and stupidity,” he admits. “The movie is supposed to teach us that the education of our children will mean the future of our planet. All the action scenes had a goal: They were supposed to be driven by either a metaphysical point of view or experience for the characters… instead parts of the movie are like a bad episode of 24.”
The film’s production was reportedly riddled with problems, from vast delays to budgetary concerns to weather setbacks. Kassovitz points to the studio, “Fox was sending lawyers who were only looking at all the commas and the dots,” he says. “They made everything difficult from A to Z.” The last stroke, Kassovitz says, was when Fox interfered with the editing of the film, paring it down to a confusing 93 minutes.
“I should have chosen a studio that has guts. Fox was just trying to get a PG-13 movie. I’m ready to go to war against them, but I can’t because they don’t give a shit.”

Fox once again prove that all they are good at is pissing people off and turning good material into your typical mindless blockbuster. I was interesting in seeing Babylon A.D. but now I am not too sure.

Behind The Scenes Of Babylon A.D

A behind the scenes featurette of Babylon A.D has appeared online. It contains the usual behind the scenes stuff along with explosions and stunts sequence.

Warning: Make sure the sound is low as the explosions are ferocious and will cause your eardrums a considerable amount of pain. However, feel free to go full volume if your into that sort of thing.

Babylon A.D will finally be released at the end of this month and stars Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh.

First Look At ‘Fast And Furious’!

USA Today has the first three official images from the currently filming Fast and Furious movie!

The movie is a sign of the strength of “quiet giants,” franchises that “might not be James Bond or Indiana Jones but still have a rabid following, especially overseas or on DVD,” says Paul Dergarabedian of Media by Numbers.
Even Justin Lin, who directed 2006’s Tokyo Drift, has been surprised by the franchise’s reach.
“I was in Barcelona, and a kid from Spain comes up and just says ‘Fast and Furious,’ ” Lin says. “It’s amazing how many kids know it.”
Indeed, the series has made $600 million worldwide and is one of Universal Studios’ best-selling DVD titles.
“We were doing a movie about illegal racing before most people even knew how popular it was,” Diesel says. “How many franchises are that based on the real world?”
But it’s not all current events, Walker says. “Who doesn’t like fast cars and hot women?”

Erm… indeed?

F&F rolls its way into theaters June 9, 2009.
