Jason Statham…they have Jason Statham in common. I suppose they also have Lionsgate in common too as they have released images from both Crank: High Voltage and Transporter 3, featuring Jason Statham of course.

Transporter 3 will be released on November 26th and Crank: High Voltage will be out next April.

The official French site for Transporter 3 has revealed a poster for the upcoming film. Jason Statham returns as no-nonsense ex-SAS trooper Frank Martin, and this time round he is joined by Robert Knepper (Prison Break) and Francois Berleand.

Allocine.fr got themselves our first look at Transporter 3 and it looks quite kick-ass!

Louis Leterrier who directed the previous movie chose to direct The Incredible Hulk instead of the third film, (great move) so French filmmaker Olivier Megaton (Second unit director for Hitman) has stood up to the plate.

Jason Statham will be reprising his role as Frank Martin in Transporter 3 says Variety. The first Transporter movie back in 2002 pushed Statham’s career up a notch, and he has since done films such as Crack (which is getting a sequel), War with Jet Li, and err…In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. François Berléand is also back on board, and Prison Break actor Robert Knepper will be joining the cast.

The directors chair will be sat on by different cheeks, as Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier is being replaced with Olivier Megaton, who’s name is one letter away from being Olivier Megatron. Transporter 3 will be filming in Russia and France for 16 weeks and is expected sometime next year.
