The new trailer for Frank Miller’s The Spirit is a huge improvement from the previous trailer we have seen. The movie has been getting some bad buzz ever since the first trailer was released and then again after footage was shown at Comic Con, so it was vital they kicked out a good trailer, which in my opinion they have.

Today Frank Miller was in Rome presenting new scenes from The Spirit. He revealed a brand new trailer which showed some new scenes, including Eva Mendes’ naked butt and some action clips. Frank Miller also spoke about his future projects, which I am sure many are glad to hear involves Sin City 2.
I cant’ talk about my projects, because I don’t believe a movie is real until I see the title on the screen. There are many things that can go wrong. But I can tell you that I’m very close to begin Sin City 2 with Robert Rodriguez. We have to arrange a few things and we’ll be back in action.
I know fans have been waiting for Sin City 2 for some time (well since Sin City came out 3 years ago), and now it seems things are in the works!

If the leaked clip from Comic Con below is anything to go by then The Spirit very well could be. The clip shows Samuel L Jackson’s Octopus having a slap stick style fight with Gabriel Macht’s Spirit. I didn’t expect this type of humour, and to be honest I don’t know what to think of it. Is it so bad it’s good? Or is it just bad?

This movie has been getting negative buzz ever since the teaser trailer was revealed a few weeks ago. It’s a good job it has until December to try and persuade people that it is worth a view.
The Spirit trailer appeared online a day or two ago in YouTube form with the word ‘leaked’ in the title. It was obviously removed by the request of Lionsgate however now it has been officially released and you can watch it below.
Some people are saying this looks like ’some weird, avant-garde soft core porn film’. The visuals look rather different and this is the first solo try at directing a film by Frank Millar.

Comic-Con Magazine has debuted the first official photo of Samuel L. Jackson as arch-enemy the Octopus in The Spirit. Anti-fur protesters will be pleased!
The widget countdown timer depended on your timezone, so there was some confusion as to why the trailer didnt show when the timer reached zero. However, the trailer is finally online for all to see!
