…and within days the official Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li was released. Hurrah! Watch it below!

It looks a bit better than Dragonball Evolution, however all of these fighting movies have the potential to come off cheesy and rubbish, especially with the dialogue. The action looks cool though.

A Japanese trailer for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li has found it’s way online via Youtube. I wouldn’t say it looks bad, but I wouldn’t say it looks great either. I think we’ll have to wait until we get more stuff to form an opinion.

The official Blog for Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li has updated, revealing a first look at Moon Bloodgood As Det. Maya Sunee. The character probably won’t sound familiar to die-hard Street Fighter fans out there. And it shouldn’t. Maya’s new to the Street Fighter universe. She’s Bangkok Gangland Homicide. A no-nonsense, fast-talking, half-Thai cop who rocks a Ducati and a set of gold cuffs.

The blog also said that they are halfway through filming, and that the rains in Bangkok were causing a problem. I also hope Moon Bloodgood has finished filming, as she is expected to start on the upcoming Terminator film soon.
