Univeral has today unveiled the first teaser poster for American Reunion, the fourth movie in the theatrical American Pie franchise. As you can see, the poster contains pie.

Oz and Heather grew apart, but Finch still longs for Stifler’s mom. American Reunion will be released April 6th, 2012 and reunites Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Chris Klein, Alyson Hannigan, Mena Suvari, Shannon Elizabeth, Tara Reid, Jennifer Coolidge, Natasha Lyonne and Eugene Levy. Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, who wrote and directed Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay, have written the script and are directing.

Yesterday we got the first teaser trailer, and now Sony have released the first official teaser poster for The Amazing Spider-Man. It features the new logo for the movie, along with the new Spidey symbol.

The Amazing Spider-Man, set for release July 3, 2012, is directed by Marc Webb and stars Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as the Lizard, Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben, Sally Field and Aunt May, and Irrfan Khan as the “Proto-Goblin,” a test subject of Norman Osborn’s experimentations.

Following the release of a motion poster for The Hunger Games yesterday, Lionsgate have released the same poster but without the music and effects.

Directed by Gary Ross and opening on March 23, 2012, The Hunger Games chronicles a dystopic Capitol which requires its twelve subjugated districts to pay tribute in the form of a teenage boy and girl, forced to participate in the annual “Hunger Games,” a fight-to-the-death live televised event.

Katniss Everdeen’s little sister is chosen in the lottery to participate and Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) volunteers to take her place. Although persevering through hardship is commonplace for Katniss, she must start making choices that weigh survival against humanity and life against love in order to win the games and return home.

Lionsgate love their motion posters. We’ve had a few for Conan the Barbarian, and now the studio has released one for The Hunger Games which features a brand-new (and highly flammable) logo based on the story’s iconic mockingjay pin.

The Hunger Games is set in a future America which is divided into 12 poor districts that serve a wealthy Capitol territory. Once a year, each district submits a girl and boy as tributes to participate in life-or-death games. Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss Everdeen alongside Josh Hutcherson (Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (Gale Hawthorne), Elizabeth Banks (Effie Trinket), Stanley Tucci (Caesar Flickerman) and 24 other young actors who play tributes from 12 different districts.

In preparation for the release of the teaser trailer for Pixar’s Brave with Cars 2 this weekend, Pixar have released the first official teaser poster for the film.

Brave is Pixar’s next original project and will feature the first female protagonist in a Pixar film. The voice cast for the movie mostly consists of soon-to-be Harry Potter alumni.

Here’s the synopsis:

Brave is set in the mystical Scottish Highlands, where Merida is the princess of a kingdom ruled by King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). An unruly daughter and an accomplished archer, Merida one day defies a sacred custom of the land and inadvertently brings turmoil to the kingdom. In an attempt to set things right, Merida seeks out an eccentric old Wise Woman (Julie Walters) and is granted an ill-fated wish. Also figuring into Merida’s quest — and serving as comic relief — are the kingdom’s three lords: the enormous Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), the surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson), and the disagreeable Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane).

Today sees the release of the first official teaser poster for John Carter, courtesy of Apple. I’d rather Disney have stuck with the original title John Carter of Mars, but in preparation for the impending marketing campaign the studio cut the title down to simply John Carter.

John Carter is directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, Wall-E) and follows Civil War veteran John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) who is transported to Mars where the inhabitants have turned to fighting one another to survive as the oceans evaporated, and the atmosphere thinned. Lynn Collins (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), Thomas Haden Church (Spider-Man 3), Mark Strong, Dominic West, James Purefoy and Samantha Morton also star, along with Willem Dafoe who plays a 10-foot alien with four arms called Tars Tarkas.

The first trailer will likely be released soon, possibly with Cars 2 on June 24th.

With the first trailer for Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn on the horizon Paramount have released two rather amazing posters for the movie. One is a US domestic poster and premiered at AICN, while the international poster appeared online over at Empire.

I am now officially excited for this. When it was announced that Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson would be teaming up for Tintin some weren’t that interested as the property isn’t that well known in the US, but with input from both Spielberg, Jackson, and writers Edgar Wright (Scott Pilgrim), Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) and Steven Moffat (Doctor Who) there is clear potential for greatness.

In the film Jamie Bell stars as journalist and adventurer Tintin with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost playing detective twins Thompson and Thomson and Daniel Craig playing villainous pirate Red Rackham. Paramount will release The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn in the US in December, with Sony releasing the film in Europe and overseas in October.

The first teaser trailer will be making its way online tomorrow!

Yahoo! Movies has revealed a new poster for Green Lantern. It doesn’t provide anything new, but it does give us a fantastic look at just how fake Ryan Reynolds’ eyes behind the mask will be. Maybe they’ll fix that with the additional $9 million the movie was given to finish its VFX.

Green Lantern hits theaters June 17th. The plot follows test pilot Hal Jordan (Reynolds), who becomes the first human to join the Green Lanterns, a small group of warriors dedicated to maintain peace in the universe. Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, and Angela Bassett co-star.
