The Three Musketeers trailer

Summit Entertainment has released the first trailer for The Three Musketeers. The movie stars Matthew Macfadyen (Frost/Nixon) as Athos, Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) as D’Artagnan, Ray Stevenson (Punisher: War Zone) as Porthos, and Luke Evans (Tamara Drewe) as Aramis. Christoph Waltz, Milla Jovovich, Mads Mikkelsen, and Orlando Bloom also appear as villains.

It has a Pirates of the Caribbean-type vibe to it, which Summit may have been aiming for. I’m sure they’d happily launch a new franchise to keep them in business post-Twilight.

Paul W.S. Anderson (Resident Evil: Afterlife) is directing in 3D, and the movie follows the hot-headed young D’Artagnan (Lerman) who joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (MacFadyen, Evans and Stevenson). They must stop the evil Richlieu (Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Bloom) and the treacherous M’lady De Winter (Jovovich).

The Three Musketeers will be released October 14.

First look at The Three Musketeers

Summit Entertainment has released the first official image from The Three Musketeers.

In the image we see (from left to right) Matthew Macfadyen (Frost/Nixon) as Athos, Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) as D’Artagnan, Ray Stevenson (Punisher: War Zone) as Porthos, and Luke Evans (Tamara Drewe) as Aramis. The movie also stars Christoph Waltz, Milla Jovovich, Mads Mikkelsen, and Orlando Bloom.

The Three Musketeers was recently pushed back to October 14, 2011 but Summit will probably be releasing the first trailer soon.

Another behind the scenes look at Clash of the Titans

Yahoo! has posted a second behind the scenes featurette for Louis Leterrier’s Clash of the Titans. The focus on this one seems to be on how much of a cool action epic the film will be, with comments on the special effects, stunts and action from Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington and Gemma Arterton. We also see a few shots of filming, along with the usual footage we’ve seen from the trailers.

Titans will be unleashed on April 2nd.

Clash of the Titans featurette

Warner Bros. has released a Clash of the Titans featurette online. The featurette takes us behind the scenes of the film, and we see director Louis Leterrier introducing us to a set which will feature Medusa taking on Perseus and his gang. We also see Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington and Mads Mikkelsen talking about their characters, the beasts and the story.

Titans will be unleashed on April 2nd.

The first trailer for Clash of the Titans is now online! When I first saw it I wasn’t too sure on the music, however after watching it a few more times it grew on me. The footage itself looks amazing and I’m glad we’ve only got to wait till March to see this.

Clash of the Titans stars Sam Worthington as Perseus, a man born of a god and raised as a man who is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

The film also stars Gemma Arterton, Mads Mikkelsen, and Danny Huston with Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier directing.

Behind the scenes of Clash of the Titans

MTV were invited to the set of Clash of the Titans and in between takes they managed to interview members of the cast, including Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Liam Cunningham and former Bond villain Mads Mikkelsen. The video below also shows us some behind the scenes action from their shoot in Wales.

Clash of the Titans is directed by The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier and also features Liam Neeson as Zeus and Ralph Fiennes as Hades.

Clash of the Titans starts filming. Synopsis and further details revealed!

With every bit of casting news for Clash of the Titans I got just that bit more interested in it. The final ‘I will be seeing this regardless’ moment came when Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes came on-board as Zeus and Hades. The good news today is that filming will begin shortly, and below are more details on the film:

Leading the international cast is Australian actor Sam Worthington as Perseus, the mortal son of Zeus, king of the gods. Worthington will next be seen in this summer’s “Terminator Salvation.” Liam Neeson takes on the role of the mighty Zeus, and Ralph Fiennes plays the role of Hades, god of the underworld, who feeds on human fear.
