Yahoo! has posted a second behind the scenes featurette for Louis Leterrier’s Clash of the Titans. The focus on this one seems to be on how much of a cool action epic the film will be, with comments on the special effects, stunts and action from Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington and Gemma Arterton. We also see a few shots of filming, along with the usual footage we’ve seen from the trailers.

Warner Bros. has released a Clash of the Titans featurette online. The featurette takes us behind the scenes of the film, and we see director Louis Leterrier introducing us to a set which will feature Medusa taking on Perseus and his gang. We also see Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Sam Worthington and Mads Mikkelsen talking about their characters, the beasts and the story.

IGN has received a new international trailer for Clash of the Titans. We’ve seen a lot of the footage in previous trailers, however this trailer gives us a few new scenes and there’s a lot more talking. The prospect of seeing Liam Neeson as Zeus having a Godly rant in 3D should be enough to make everyone see this during its opening weekend.

The Incredible Hulk director Louis Letterier has spoken about The Avengers quite a lot in the past, with the topic mainly focusing on the involvement of The Hulk and the potential for the character to be the villain in the film.

Iron Man director Jon Favreau has ruled himself out as a candidate to direct, instead opting to produce, and this could leave the directors chair available for Letterier, who would be very willing to sit in it.

“I hope they don’t find a director before I’m available, because I’d love to take a crack at ['Avengers'],” Leterrier told MTV News. “It’s just an amazing universe, and to have everybody involved…”

“Jon Favreau would’ve been the best director to do this thing, but now that he’s a producing, I’d love to be able to work with him and continue what I started with ‘Hulk’ and what he started with ‘Iron Man’ and we do it together and continue that universe,” he said.

As for how likely that is to happen, Leterrier said he’s still contracted for a second film and has been chatting with Marvel whenever the opportunity arises. “It’s like an option,” he said of his Marvel movie deal. “I was optioned for two movies with Marvel. So every time I do a movie, like ‘Clash of the Titans’ for example, I say, ‘Guys, I’m about to do ‘Clash’ — so can I do it?’ And they say, ‘Yeah, we have nothing for you, so go ahead.’”

While Leterrier said he hasn’t sent anyone at Marvel a pitch for his “Avengers” vision at this point, the film isn’t far from his mind. “I love the Marvel universe,” he laughed. “I love those guys.”

I enjoyed The Incredible Hulk and Clash of the Titans looks great so I would be happy for Letterier to direct. I don’t want to speak too soon though as Thor director Kenneth Branagh and Captain America director Joe Johnston still have to show their stuff first. They could very well be better. I think it would be great if all 5 directors could serve as producers or work with whoever ends up directing. We’d have a dream team both in front and behind the camera.

If the trailer we got for Clash of the Titans last week is anything to go by we are in for an epic treat next March, which will make it Sam Worthington’s second epic in the space of 4 months following the release of Avatar.

The L.A Times spoke to the actor about Titans recently while he was promoting Avatar, and he said that they will be re-shooting some scenes in a few weeks time. However, it isn’t anything to worry about.

The 33-year-old actor said that Warners, pleased with what they saw of Leterrier’s work, had increased the budget for the film.

“We’re going to be going back and shooting more scenes for it, they cut loose with some money so we can add to it,” Worthington told me as we sat in the green room. Worthington went on: “We’re going to be shooting more scenes in January, so we’re going to be right up against it — the movie comes out in March.”

I had to ask: Is it really enthusiasm that is behind the mad scramble? From the outside, last-minute returns to the set look like signs of trouble. Worthington conceded that the January labors will help fix up some problem areas of the film, but he insisted that the new money and the new filming opportunity are signs that Warners and the producers are setting their sights higher for the film.

“There were some creaky parts but they are the parts that we knew were creaky and that we knew were going to be creaky going into it. The studio is also letting us add some gods and scenes. And they’re talking about making the movie a 3D film.”

Whatever more “gods and scenes” involves, I’m up for it!

The first trailer for Clash of the Titans is now online! When I first saw it I wasn’t too sure on the music, however after watching it a few more times it grew on me. The footage itself looks amazing and I’m glad we’ve only got to wait till March to see this.

Empire were sent some exclusive new images from Clash of the Titans, and they look quite cool. The image above features Sam Worthington as Perseus who has a run in with some witches. When I first saw them I thought they were creations of Guillermo del Toro, which is a good thing.

“He’s just your golden hero that you’re meant to follow,” says Worthington of the old Perseus. “I feel when my Perseus starts out, he should be this bombastic tank. The gods have killed his family. He’s Charles Bronson! He’s gonna go for revenge, and the best way to achieve that is to kill the Kraken. Well, to kill the Kraken you gotta kill Medusa. To get to Medusa, you gotta take on the witches. Then once he kills the Kraken, he’s gonna kill fuckin’ Hades and Zeus and everybody else! But along the way he needs to learn to calm down, ask for help. And out of that comes the true hero. A hero isn’t someone who leads men; a hero is someone that’s in the trench with the men.”

MTV were invited to the set of Clash of the Titans and in between takes they managed to interview members of the cast, including Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Liam Cunningham and former Bond villain Mads Mikkelsen. The video below also shows us some behind the scenes action from their shoot in Wales.

We’ve already seen pictures of Sam Worthington from Clash of the Titans, both on set and official images, and now it’s time for us to direct our eyeballs in the direction of Gemma Arterton.

She will most likely end up as his love interest too. 2010 will be a big year for Gemma as she has Clash of the Titans which is released in March and then two months later Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time hits our screens, which she stars in alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. I think by this time next year people who know who she is and she won’t just be known as ‘that red head who had intercourse with Daniel Craig in Quantum of Solace‘.

Empire got the first official image from Louis Leterrier’s Clash of the Titans earlier this week, and now we have another image to give our mythology shafts a boost. Below we have a shot of Sam Worthington as Perceus, who looks a tad angry.

Dear Warner Bros, please could you give us a shot of Liam Neeson as Zeus, or one of Ralph Fiennes as Hades? I don’t think I could handle the epicness contained within so release them one at a time please.
