NBC have released some new promo images from the third season of Heroes. The promo’s include highly photo shopped poses from Hayden Panettiere, Milo Ventimiglia, Ali Larter, Zachary Quinto and the rest of the cast.

One of the best trailers I have seen in a long while is for Watchmen (you can watch it again here). So any fan made attempts or trailer mash-ups of it will interest me hugely. The one below is probably the best I have seen. It was made by DrewboiX and uses footage from Heroes and the music from the Watchmen trailer.

The images show Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) and Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet) looking rather…different. We only have another 130+ days to go until Heroes reappears on our TV screens. The last promo didn’t reveal much, however in this new one we get to see the actors explode with excitement and a few behind the scenes shots…

Last season, Heroes was one of the best new shows on television. It started off slow, but quickly found its legs to become a breakout hit (and not to mention becoming NBC’s answer to ABC’s Lost). Unfortunately, after a terrific run, the show lost millions of viewers after it came back from its winter hiatus. It had also lost that spark that made the show special, and it limped its way to a lackluster season finale

See, I like this. At least he is man enough to admit that he is wrong.
After a few lackluster episodes (that came after a lackluster season finale), Tim Kring has come out and apologized to his fans. That’s right, he said he was sorry that Heroes has sucked this year. You have to admire that.
Jeff Jensen, over at Entertainment Weekly, posted an semi-interview today with Tim Kring where he goes on to list everything he knows is wrong about this season of Heroes…and how he is going to fix it. Directly from EW.com:

The ever-so talented Michael Ausiello over at TV Guide has just confirmed something I heard a rumor about yesterday.
In the unlucky event that some sort of agreement is made very soon between the WGA and AMPTP, totally disregard what I’m about to say next. However, if not, expect Heroes to end this season a lot sooner than expected.
Rather than suffer the fate of a half-finished season, inside sources say that the show is going back to shoot an alternative ending to the episode that is airing on December 3rd. The episode itself was said to be the end
