Latino Review were provided with the international poster for D.J. Caruso’s new thriller Eagle Eye, starring Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson, and Billy Bob Thornton.

It’s better than the other one we got!

Eagle Eye will be out on September 26th 2008.

I thought one Shia LaBeouf was enough, however according to the makers of the Eagle Eye poster we need five! Maybe LaBeouf took the movie tagline, ‘If you want to live you will obey’, a bit too seriously and demanded five different images of himself on the poster or else the crew would get beatings.

The new trailer for upcoming Shia LaBeouf lead, Steven Spielberg produced, super thriller Eagle Eye sheds some new light on the plotline and gives a LOT more than the teaser (which is why it was a teaser, I guess!).

I’m actually REALLY excited about this movie! Shia may not have the best reputation as a person, but I really like him as an actor. Plus, with Spielberg running the show, what have we got to lose?

Here we have a first look at Shia LaBeouf’s latest movie that yet again involves Steven Spielberg (no suprise there!) Eagle Eye sees LaBeouf re-team with his second favourite director, D.J. Caruso. Shia plays a young slacker whose overachieving twin brother mysteriously dies. When he returns home, both he and his single mother find that they have been framed as terrorists. Forced to become members of a cell that has plans to carry out a political assassination, they must work together to extricate themselves.

As with all movies that involve people being framed, the phrase ‘Somebody’s set me up‘ appears in the trailer. Very cliché. However, it does look interesting. Eagle Eye also has a great cast, consisting of Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson and Billy Bob Thornton.
