Sam Raimi, best known for his Spider-Man movies, has just become the next director to get behind an adaptation of literary master Dennis Lehane (Mystic River and Gone, Baby, Gone) The book rights to The Given Day were acquired by Columbia Pictures.

Goosebumps Coming To The Big Screen!

Columbia Pictures has bought the rights to over 50 Goosebumps books by childhood horror master R.L. Stine!  None of the books are currently in development, but we can expect to hear something relatively soon.
