Avatar 2 is the long awaited sequel to James Cameron's Avatar which earned over $2 billion at the global box office in 2009 and introduced the new wave of 3D movies. The currently plan is to shoot Avatar 2 and Avatar 3 in late-2013 or early 2014, with 20th Century Fox hoping to have the first sequel hitting screens December 2015. Cameron has been hard at work on the scripts for both films and hasn't given much away, but we do know that underwater performance-capture will be used; suggesting the oceans of Pandora will be explored. The first Avatar 2 movie trailer won't be released for a while, but you can check out the latest news below:
