Earlier this week we got our first look at Robert Rodriguez’s Predators reboot in the form of a behind the scene featurette, and now we have the first official teaser trailer for the film. It looks good. The whole ‘world’s deadliest killers thrown together in a remote location and have to fight for survival’ plot has been done a few times before, but I suppose the story isn’t the main reason people would want to see Predators. They want to see people get violently killed by an alien.

Adrien Brody plays Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers – mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members – human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.

Predators will be released on July 7th, five days after The Last Airbender.

The attendees of the South By Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas were treated to a first look at footage from Nimrod Antal’s Predators last night, and luckily for us a sneak peak has been made available for everyone to see online.

The film is produced and overseen by Robert Rodriguez (Desperado, Once Upon a Time in Mexico), and there’s an introduction by him included in the footage. The full trailer will be available on March 18th, and the film will be released on July 7th in the United States. I was pretty blown away by this footage; the movie looks a lot more expansive than I thought it’d be, and Adrien Brody definitely seems like more of a badass than I anticipated. And of course the presence of Laurence Fishburne adds an air of gravitas to any production.

The trailer for Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox is now online. It’s actually quite refreshing to see a kids movie that isn’t all CGI’d with wide eyed animals. It’s got a retro feel to it. When I first watched the trailer it kinda freaked me out a little, especially the rat, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it gave a few kids nightmares. However, after I watched it a few more times it gradually grew on me.

As the trailer shows, the film has quite a lot of cool actors providing their voices, people such as George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Michael Gambon, Owen Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Brian Cox and Adrien Brody. Fantastic Mr. Fox will be released on November 13th in the US and October 23rd in the UK

French site Filmsactu got their hands on some new images from Fantastic Mr. Fox. The film has quite a lot of cool actors providing their voices, people such as George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Michael Gambon, Owen Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Brian Cox and Adrien Brody.

Directed by Wes Anderson, the stop-motion film is based on Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story and centers on the clever Mr. Fox who must outwit three mean, dimwitted farmers who try their hardest to hurt him and his family.

Fantastic Mr. Fox will be released on November 13th in the US and October 23rd in the UK and we should be getting a trailer by the end of July.
