But then I read the books and I see that yes it was a little off, but that doesn't mean I didn't like both the book and the movie. I hope though they give us more in New Moon. If Lord of the Rings can take up 3 hours of our lives than so can New Moon.

I agree that the movie is a must see. I loved it. Even though the script was very different from the book, Bella was so pretty and edward was so protectiveeee

I believe that the movie was fantastic! There was a large portion of the movie where we, the audience, watched but were not able to listen to the main characters talk to each other. Key pieces of the novel could have had the viewers love struck but instead we were left with a emptiness. Although the screenwriters stuck fairly close to the plot the main point, forbidden love, was skimmed over. I truly hope in New Moon, Melissa Rosenburg and Summit Entertainment give us what we were craving for with Twilght, an incredible LOVE story.

Unlike the book, the movie did a poor job in convincing the audiance as to why Bella and Edward were so in love with each other.
