Star Trek Super Bowl TV spot

new trek smallerHere we have the Super Bowl TV spot for J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek. There is lots of new footage to feast our eyes on. Watch it below!

The film stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, John Cho, Ben Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Winona Ryder, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, Eric Bana, Leonard Nimoy, Marlene Forte, and Jimmy Bennett, with a release date of May 2009.

    Hmmm.. I dont know exactly how I feel about how this is going to turn out. I do hope it is good, and in alot of ways its looking to be that way but…. I just hope this reboot of the franchise stays true to the theme/lore of Star Trek and indeed does give it a "reboot", rather then just trying to use the big name to make big bucks as a summer blockbuster using special effects. I only say this because of all the movie titles being remade today(Theres alot!). I guess we'll see :D
