2 showings in my city are sold out. On a Tuesday! O.O/ It was the same yesterday. >.> I wanted to go see it for my third time, because I hadn’t seen it in IMAX, only RealD, but it’s still sold out. I was going to pre-order tickets, but I didn’t think they’d STILL be sold out showings. Impressive, and we didn’t even have a snow storm or anything. ._.

Please take out the swear words of God’s name used in vain. So uncalled for and offensive.

This is a movie that no movie lover should miss…This is that movie that you always would be made someday…A movie that will blow your mind and sweep the ground below your feet…A movie that leaves you speechless…A movie that you can watch with your mouth open in awe & admiration…I remember watching it with my mouth open on what is going on the virtual world created before me…God! I want to visit Pandora, I want to meet Neytri, I want to climb those hanging mountains….I have already watched in twice in a space of 5 days and would not mind watching it again & again & again….

Those who have not watched it, plz, plz plz, go and watch this movie in 3D…You will never feel your money could have been spent in a better way…You would come out of the theatre feeling you would have spent more if needed….All the Best to all and to AVATAR…!!!

I was affraid to admit what you have stated, but it is absolutely true. I actually felt real bad that the movie was over and I kept my 3D glasses in PROTEST.

    The Future Is Here ! Entertainment at it’s best. Avatar does what it set out to do;
thrill us with nonstop eyecandy, action and spectacle. Will see it again and again.
I was captivated throughout the film. Could not take my eyes off the projection that
extended 20 feet from the screen. The detail and color were superlative. Great film !
    Thanks Cameron !

I am a senior citizen who went to see Avatar with an open mind. I saw and read a few smug or snooty remarks about the storyline – so let me say it here for everyone – the storyline is fun, humane, sometimes sentimental – and there is nothing wrong with that – but above all – entertaining. We all knew how Titanic would end but it didn’t stop us from having a great time at the movies and for millions the predictability didn’t stop them from going back to see Titanic again. It is evident that Cameron wants to give the audience a ‘great ride’ albeit in the case of Avatar – a thrilling ride. My partner and I had a blast and we are going back again this Sunday! Yay! We can’t ride rollercoasters anymore but Avatar gave us the biggest bang for our bucks and we came out of the theatre wowed and enthusiastic. I’m on board for the sequels. Thank you James Cameron.

The BEST movie I’ve ever seen. Worth the money! It had everything you would look for in an epic film of such proportions. I really appreciate how the movie continued at the point in which she tells Jake to disappear forever and completely unraveled the entire story line. Predictable?….YES, however, in my opinion, this was an “Iconic Movie”. It rivals all the top films. LOVED it and I never even watched an Avatar cartoon before. Well done and I would go to the sequel without thinking about it twice. MAJOR KUDOS!

This was the best film that I have ever watched in a theater. I had no clue what Avatar was, but I am a serious fan now. ICONIC would be the word I would use to describe this epic journey of a film. Totally entertained and pleased with this film.

the movie was awesome. the visual effects were kick-ass! especially since i watch it in 3D. despite the negative reviews and even though the plot was a bit predictable, it was still a great watch. it felt like a whole new world watching at the theater, i didn’t care if the other people there were staring at me – well i was so awestruck with it all i kept muttering to myself – i enjoyed it very much.

The movie was awesome and there was nothing wrong w/ it! The plot was original and the graphics were amazing! The dialogue sounded just perfect for me! Over all it was the best movie I have ever seen! Before my favorite movie was Van Helsing but now its Avatar!!! It rocked!! I give it a 10/10!!!

The cartoon 'Avatar' isn't related to James Cameron's 'Avatar'. :3 They are making a movie based on the 'Avatar' cartoon though, which is called The Last Airbender. But Nickelodeon's Avatar and James Cameron's Avatar have nothing to do with one another. xD

Well there you go…..it makes my point stronger…I am not big on this type of film but this one is awesome. Thx.

Truly a work of art and a technical masterpiece. It is absolutely the best movie I have ever seen. The story was great, the acting excellent and the rest is indescribable. Simply put … utterly fantastic.

Well as a massive RPG fan ( and Avatar being Japanese for virtual character ),
I was ready to tear this film to bits in terms of fantasy, story, how it all fits etc.
Problem was, I couldn't find a single flaw!

The visuals are extremely beautiful, the story is well……. it's human, How our ignorance, greed and racism can destroy an entire planet ( if allowed to yay for the Na'vi standing up to us lol )
Although essentially a love story at heart with the action and fantasy it just doesn't seem so.

I totally love this film, I'm going to keep going back til it's not in the cinema then I'll be the first to get my copy on DvD.

Got to give it to James Cameron, he doesn't make too many films but the one's he does make are stunning, imaginative and just totally blow you away!
