Comments on: Ryan Reynolds is the Green Lantern

Although I like Ryan Reynolds as an actor in both comedy and action roles, I really, really do not think this is a good idea, as he is already Deadpool and I personally don't see him portraying the Hal Jordan version of Green Lantern.

ok thanks for the info im surprise this is not done by WB/Legendary Pictures cause all the DC comic films are done by WB/Legendary Pictures. but then again you cant always trust IMDB. i really hope Legendary Pictures get involved in this movie

I really like Ryan Renolds, but I just don't see him playing Hal Jordan. If I had to associate him as a Green Lantern, I would compare him to Kyle Rayner! Kyle Rayner has more of a comic appeal as he does, but Hal? No! As far as for “Deadpool”, I was looking forward for that, but Green Lantern to me seems so much of a bigger tittle. So I just hope he chooses wisely to which superhero he wants to portray.

do anyone knows if Green Lantern going to be done by both WB/Legendary Pictures or just WB. if its just WB then this movie will be in trouble. if the movie is done by both WB/Legendary Pictures then hopfully the movie will turn out to be good.

Legendary Pictures are the ones that really made WB superhero movies work

anyway we know Deadpool wears a mask but the problem is we all still know its Ryan Reynolds still behind the mask. Ryan Reynolds playing both Deadpool and Green Lantern is still not right. i have a feeling Deadpool is not going to be made or this casting of Ryan Reynolds been confirmed to be the Green Lantern been taken out of context

If they do Deadpool right you will never see Ryan's face, only his voice. That's why this is different and I think, no, I know he can do both.

Completely agree. You can't just take a person who's already starring in a Marvel super hero movie and put him in a DC super hero movie. o_O They're gonna be at least a year in time difference, and apparently they're gonna try and do Deadpool right this movie and make him all scarred up, and on occasion, a mask.

But still, I don't like the idea of him playing in 2 super hero lead roles, regardless if it's Marvel/DC. >.> Grr. But it's not just the studio's fault for picking him, Ryan Renold's auditioned for this role, which confuses me.. He's so excited to be in the Deadpool movie, because he talks about it so much in interviews, but he goes ahead with another super hero movie?

I don't get it. It's like Deadpool isn't a big enough role for you..? I'm kind of thrown for a loop here, because I was so 100% behind Ryan, because he was a huge Deadpool fan and commited to staying true to the character, but he goes ahead to become another super hero. It breaks my illusion that the movie is actually real and taking place, as weird as that may sound. ._.;

It's like, Ryan's cheating on Deadpool with the Green Lanturn. o-O That statement pretty much sums up my feelings.
