Production Weekly has tweeted details on when cameras will roll on Runaways, Clash of the Titans 2 and Oz, the Great and Powerful.

Marvel’s first non-Avengers related movie, Runaways, will be directed by Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist director Peter Sollett and follows a group of six kids whose parents are a criminal group of mob bosses, time-travelers, dark wizards, mad scientists, alien invaders and telepathic mutants. The kids steal weapons and resources from their parents, and learn they themselves inherited their parents’ powers. Filming will begin in January and is expected to end in July.

Clash of the Titans 2, which Sam Worthington declared will be more fun next time round earlier this week, will be shot in 3D in February. No director has been announced yet but Warner Bros. are currently looking at potential candidates.

Oz, the Great and Powerful follows a circus wrangler who is transported by a tornado to the mysterious world of Oz where he gets mistaken for a know-it-all, and eventually becomes the Wizard of Oz. Robert Downey Jr. is expected to play the lead, with Spider-Man director Sam Raimi in talks to direct. Disney is aiming for a June start, although there are a few other Oz-related movies in development so it’ll be a race to see who manages to begin filming first.
