Rango teaser trailer

rango trailerThe movie world entered a state of bafflement and amazement today with the release of the teaser trailer for Rango. The film is an animated feature by Pirates of the Caribbean director Gore Verbinski and stars Johnny Depp as a “chameleon with an identity crisis”.

I won’t ruin it for you, although I apologize in advance for possibly wasting 53 seconds of your life that you will never get back.

I’m sure what we just witnessed means something. I doubt we will be getting an explanation anytime soon, so I eagerly await the next trailer so we can get a little perspective.

Rango, which also stars Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Harry Dean Stanton, Ray Winstone, and Timothy Olyphant, will be released by Paramount next March.

    My guess is the 'chameleon' is riding the fish past, but you can't see him/it because it's blended into its surroundings?

    Or, it could just be the suckiest trailer ever.
