Two new images of Jake Gyllenhaal from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time have appeared online over at The Huffington Post. The casting of Gyllenhaal all makes sense now. The game is mostly played by males which means Disney have that demographic, so in order to get females flocking to see this action/adventure they needed to hire a good looking A-Lister (just like they hired Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom for Pirates of the Caribbean). I know your game Disney! (And it will probably work).

  • Oh and i also never get those photo releases...theyre often the first thing youll see of the movie and often just bad...i mean why dont they just show him in his well known clothes...Dont they know that more then half the internet is retarded and gonna think..."so thats how he will look ... that doesnt look like the game!! bleeh bleeeh!"...tough i assume when well see him in actual clothes ...not just random like here...everybody will say...nailed!
  • Omg...ok Orlando Bloom and Jonny Deep hype is over!....Girls gonna scream ohhh Jack is soo nice...i assume him on most sexiest men 2010 .
  • Why coudn't they cast a real Persian for the role of Prince of Persia?

There must be some Iranian American Actors.

Gemma Arterton as Princess from India??? They got an English Rose to play someone from India? If they could not find someone in the United States, of Indian descent, Bollywood is a phone call away.

Freida Pinto would have been a good pick
