Predators to start filming next month

20th Century Fox’s reboot of the Predator franchise will begin filming next month according to Production Weekly. Predators will be directed by Nimrod Antal and produced by Sin City director Robert Rodriguez.

The story will be set on the Predator home world, where a group of soldiers will battle for their lives against the creatures. Recenty Rodriguez told MTV that his reboot will be a direct sequel to the original, possibly ignoring Predator 2, Alien vs. Predator, and Alien vs Predator: Requiem, saying “Maybe people will forget all the bad sequels and only think this one and the original exist”.

That’s fine by me!

Im down for a battle on the predator home world. they fucking teased me in AVP:R. but to egnore the other movies...that would be stoopid. Avp was and ok movie, avpr was better but could have done without the 90210 bullshit. and predator2 was to me better in more ways than the first one. but thats me, I love predator but i grew up with Predator 2. now if this came in after like the second avp and before the first alien that would be cool. it would tie in every thing.
