Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides Comic-Con teaser

On Thursday at Comic-Con a special teaser was shown for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at the end of the Tron Legacy panel which surprised those in attendance.

Johnny Depp in character as Captain Jack Sparrow informed the crowd that his next adventure will include “zombies, cutthroats, mermaids and… Penelope Cruz”, and now a good quality video of the footage has made its way online.

Joining Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush on the next outing will be Ian McShane as Blackbeard, Penelope Cruz (who plays his daughter), Stephen Graham as Scram, Astrid Berges-Frisbey as mermaid Syrena and Sam Claflin as “a youthful missionary”.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will follow Jack Sparrow and Barbossa as they sail to find the fountain of youth together, only to find that Blackbeard is after it too.
