Looks like a better choice than many of the ones I've been hearing. I could easily see them transforming Martin into a hobbit. His style of dry, ironic humor is perfect for the part too. Bilbo says some pretty sarcastic and ironic things in the book and I could easily see Martin acting them out.

I completely agree. Guillermo announced that in a few weeks he'll say the chosen actors name. And according to IMDB, Freeman hasn't started working on any new films or shows (all in post-production). It's going to happen!
