This is probably one of the coolest movie posters I’ve ever seen. It features a collage of scenes, including snippets of dialogue from the movie!

And we all thought Warner Bros. would be all trailered out by now…
Not so!
Here’s the new The Dark Knight international trailer, featuring some never-before-seen clips and some really great action!
DID ANYONE ELSE KNOW THAT KATE WINSLET SINGS???
If you did, and never told me… well, shame on you!
I just found this clip while surfing YouTube. It features Kate singing a song called “What If”, which she sang for the 2001 animated flick Christmas Carol: The Movie.
Enjoy!
Black20 have done it again. They usually create cool and funny trailers, such as Iron Ma’am and the PG 300 trailer. However, this time they have created something even more amazing.
Enjoy!
A trailer for Disney’s Bolt has appeared online and can be seen below.
At the beginning when I saw all of the ‘I’ve altered him, he can protect you know’ and then the huge superbark I got rather excited, however it then cut to a normal movie about a dog who finds some friends and goes on a journey. Don’t get me wrong it looks good, and will look even cooler in 3D, however I’d prefer superdogs and evil villains rather than a deluded canine voiced by John Travolta who is trying to find a girl who has the same voice as Miley Cyrus.
It seems another 80’s fantasy film is being remade. Rose McGowan has been cast as Red Sonja in Red Sonja, the movie will be produced by Sin City director Robert Rodriguez and will begin filming in October. The casting isn’t too surprising, seeing as though Rose McGowan and Robert Rodriguez have engaged in sexual intercourse many a time and are due to be wed. It also isn’t too surprising that he had this to say:
“Rose is a pistol. She’s whip-smart, has attitude to burn, is sexy, extremely strong, yet has a vulnerable side that would surprise her closest friends. That description also fits Red Sonja.”
Red Sonja will be directed longtime Rodriguez associate Douglas Aarniokoski and the aim is to get a franchise started.
The 1985 version stared a young Arnold Schwarzenegger who said it was the worst film he has ever made, and a crap Brigitte Nielsen as Red Sonja. The movie made a measly $6 million with a $15 million budget and was described as “Hilariously awful” and “Unwatchably bad sword-and-sorcery nonsense”. It appears that Robert Rodriguez has no pressure to live up to previous incarnations, so all he has to do is take notes from female action driven movies such as Aeon Flux, Catwoman and Elektra on how NOT to do things. and we could have a good movie coming our way.
As well as discussing 300, producers Mark Canton, Gianni Nunnari and Bernie Goldmann spoke to Collider about another upcoming project of theirs, War of Gods. The movie (not to be confused with the game God of War) is another Greek epic about a war between Gods and humans. They are aiming to start filming at the beginning of 2009, and it will be filmed in a similar style to 300.
Yesterday Variety reported that Warner Bros. have signed The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier to direct their remake of Clash of the Titans. While both War of Gods and Clash of the Titans will have different plots, storylines and subject matter, they both evolve around Greek mythology. This has inevitably caused a battle of epic proportions, with both movies wanting to be released first. If the general public see two trailers for two different movies about similar things, they usually go to see the movie released first. Everyone saw Madagascar over The Wild, and Finding Nemo over Shark Tale. There were also two movies released within a year of each other about Truman Capote. Which one got all the attention and Oscars? The one released first staring Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Obviously other factors contribute, such as the actors and marketing. However, if two movies both include Zeus, Gods and monsters then the one with the earliest release date will have the advantage. At the moment it seems War of Gods has the advantage, as a filming start date is in place, while Clash of the Titans has only just been greenlight with the arrival of Hulk director Louis Leterrier.
May the battle commence!

Collider spoke with 300 producers Mark Canton, Gianni Nunnari and Bernie Goldmann at the recent Saturn Awards and got them to reveal that not only are they working on a Blu-ray edition of the film but they’re also planning a sequel and/or prequel. Frank Miller is busy working on a brand new story and director Zack Snyder says that if they think it could work as a movie, they’re going to make it!
I know some people would prefer 300 to stay as a standalone film, however this is Hollywood. 300 was a surprise hit for Warner Bros, having septupled (x7) its budget, so it makes business sense to jump on the sequel bandwagon.
What are your thoughts?
