Now that my Transformers review is actually up, I hope my feelings towards Michael Bay and this film in particular are cleared up.

I just thought that the last quote from him in the above AP piece conveyed an attitude of not caring. He has said that the Twins were for children.

Let me Quote, where you said what im talking about

This sentence obviously denies Bay any innocence in the matter. It says," Michael Bay is insensitive to the issue and ignorant to his wrongful actions and execution of an OBVIOUSLY racist part of his movie"

Im not damning you to crit hell or anything I just get sick of people picking on this guy and not damning people who shouldn't get production deals and still be in hollywood, like Ewe Boll, who seems to keep getting chances. Transformers 2 Rocked the sox off of the first one and everything that Michael Bay said would be bigger was bigger. I felt like a kid again and thats all i can ask for these days. May go see it a 3rd time.

I find this funny because all actions are stereotypes now. I'm sure that Optimus was white because of how he was speaking in the movie? Oh wait….he's a freaking robot. Metal and plastic with a voice added. If it was racist or intended to be I don't think they would have put it in a major film, and I also don't think the voice actors would have done it. Wasn't one of the voices the spongebob guy? Yeah, spongebob is a racist oh and he's gay…buy stereotypes! Let's make that into news :) Please quit trying to blow up crap when there really isn't anything there. I never noticed a gold tooth. Must have missed that one.

I've been re-reading this since your comment and still haven't seen where I show any bias towards or against Michael Bay. Actually, I reference the internet going crazy about the 'bots and linked to the Associated Press and an interview with the writers. I'm sorry you feel like I have anything against Bay, I assure you it's usually quite the opposite.

This is the same type of crap i wrote about on the last Michael Bay post. The writer of this article and his obvious bias towards Michael Bay. Anyone who backs this argument of racist robots is the same type of person who would point out that you “have to be coocoo for coco puffs but frosted flakes are GRRRREAT!”. Come the F on people. First of all, no director even if he is racist is stupid enough to get racist in a film that is suppose to be a blockbuster and will ultimate pull in hundred of millions of dollars. No matter how cocky you Crit bastards may think they are. If he says it was just them putting more attitude into the characters and personalities into the robots, then that's what it was suppose to be. Jazz in the first movie was obviously modeled after a hip talking black guy stereotype, but he was the most liked robot in the film because he had the most personality out of them all, other than the honorable optimus prime. As far as ebonics and not being able to read, among other attributes: THE ENTIRE school system and society has been in a decline for years (moreso I'd say the people have been failing it), and its not just affecting black people. I merely ask you this: Who's being racist by associating these robots with black people. Michael Bay or You!? I'm black and I can read and write and I dont have gold teeth. Don't call other people racist to calm your own negative minds.
