We haven’t heard that much about Ninja Assassin recently. The release date was thought to be January 2009 but according to producer Joel Silver that was never the case. Yesterday Warner Bros. revealed their 2009 line-up which featured Ninja Assassin, however no date was specified. Apparently lead actor Rain is involved in some legal trouble and they don’t want to be releasing the movie while he is busy in court. Nevertheless, a cool new video showing Rain training and practising his stunts has Youtubed it’s way online. It is VERY impressive. Who would have thought Rain was just a popstar from South Korea?
Ninja Assassin is produced by the Wachowski Brothers (The Matrix) and stars Rain as Raizo, one of the deadliest assassins in the world, and Naomie Harris, who plays an Europol agent who has stumbled upon a money trail linking several political murders to an underground network of untraceable assassins from the Far East.
