Oh my god. It’s starting. And I’m so excited.

The summer of 2006 was filled with Lost for me. Not only did I make a Lost fan film (check it out on my website!), but I became very much involved in ‘The Lost Experience.’ This summer long time waster was one of those ‘alternative reality games’ that a lot of people are using to market their goods these days (I’m looking at you, Cloverfield. Funny how they are both JJ projects). Mysterious symbols, candy bars, orientation videos, Rachel Blake, and all other things starting popping up on the Internet AND the real world. The game sucked many hardcore Lost viewers in, and didn’t spit them out until September. And damn it, it was fun. The live DJ Dan radio broadcast that served as the finale was the highlight for many fans (especially me, because I called in and got on the air!).

And when it was all over, fans wondered “Will it happen again?”

And now, my friends, your prayers have been answered. It looks as if it WILL be happening again. And soon. Like, in a few days soon.

ABC has just released this press release, and boy, does it make me excited!

OCEANIC AIRLINES ANNOUNCES ITS RETURN TO THE AIRWAYS “TAKING YOU PLACES YOU NEVER IMAGINED”

Flights Begin December 31 To Nine Markets
Oceanic Airlines announced today their return to the airways. Beginning December 31, operations and flights to nine markets will resume, “Taking You Places You Never Imagined.” Destinations include:

Los Angeles, CA
Tustin, CA
Ames, IA
Miami, FL
New York, NY
Portland, OR
Knoxville, TN
Seoul, South Korea
Sydney, Australia

What’s that?! Oceanic Airlines is reopening its doors?! Count me in!

Which, according to DarkUFO, when decrypted reads “CHANGES WILL OCCUR! A KEEN EYE IS NEEDED!”

On top of that, a new website, flyoceanicair.com, is set to open on December 31st…thus marking the beginning of the game.

This is the sort of stuff that us hardcore Lost fans live for. I really can’t wait to see what they have in store for us before the new season starts. This just gets me more and more excited.
